JAMESTOWN, N.D. – The 8th annual Precision Agriculture Summit will be held on Jan. 21-22 at the North Dakota Farmers Union Conference Center in Jamestown. The theme for the 2019 summit is “Real World Strategies for Yielding Results,”and it will provide attendees with practical tools and information developed in real world settings. Speakers will include national ag experts as well as local researchers and practitioners, covering specific topics in the areas of:
- Profitability and value creation
- Precision equipment, apps and technology
- Building on-farm trials
- Zone creation using SWAT (Soil, Water and Topography) maps
- Agronomic concepts
- Precision trends, precision sampling
- Working with yield data and data sets
- Farm connectivity
Those attending can still get in on the early bird registration rate of $75 per person if they register before Dec. 21, for this premier ag technology event. This event focuses on providing the region’s farmers with useful insights and action items that can be learned during the event and applied to their operations immediately.
